Au Revoir...Till We Meet Again...

Finally I was able to hang out with my BFF(Best Frenz Forever, for those of you who don't know). Initially there were some changes in plans (again), but thankfully we were able to follow our initial plan. Lemme just tell you guys a lil bit about my bestie. We've known each other since primary school, but not till we were 16 we started to click. We were in the same class for two years and I consider him one of the closest friends I have. We can sit down and talk for hours. You can say he's my gay best friend, except he's straight as an arrow.

So back to the trip. We went to Queensbay, my second home and our fav hang out spot. Throughout the journey we kept talking about our highschool days. Kinda miss all the shenanigans we used to get into. We had lunch at some Japanese restaurant but I can't remember what's it called. After that we went to scan the clothes we wanna buy for Chinese New Year. I intentionally left out the scarf from my check list the last time I went to KL just so that he could help me pick one today. Couldn't get a green scarf though ;) We had tea at Winter Warmers. I absolutely love that place. For one, it's quiet. I like to eat in peace. The other thing I love about the place is the decor. It's very "English".

It hasn't quite hit me that this is possibly the last time I'm gonna see him before I leave the country. But I certainly do hope we do not drift apart. Tomorrow I will be leaving for KL. Shopping again. Yippy. Update you guys on the trip once I get back. Anyway, here's some pictures from today...

As luck would have it...

I was telling you guys yesterday how today is gonna be a big day for me. Well, it was actually, until something came up. I'm supposed to meet my BFF today. It's been ages since I last saw him. The thing is, he is kinda like me in the sense that we don't get to go out often and our plans greatly depends on the plans we made with our families. This means we have to work around their schedule and not only ours. Anyway, we planned to hang out in Penang on the 23rd. But we had to reschedule due to personal reasons. So we took a rain check and we're supposed to go today. And what do you know, the Universe chooses to unleash its wrath on me today (It holds a grudge against me for some reason). Well what can I say? I kinda had a gut feeling this was gonna happen. Over the years I've learned not to keep my hopes up to avoid disappointment (yes...yes...You can feel sorry for me...). Or maybe I have some kinda supernatural powers that can alter the outcome of plans just by thought. I would be a great asset to the X-Men. But anyways, we took another rain check and we're supposed to go tomorrow. Let’s see how that goes. Wish me luck~

Movie Day

So we're supposed to watch Gulliver's Travel today, but as usual, nothing goes according to plan. If there's one thing I've learned from 20 years of living with my parents is NEVER EVER get my hopes up. Call it a Jinx if you may, personally, I think the Universe holds a grudge against me. Alright, going off topic here. So, back to my main point, I'm not a spontaneous person, so naturally I like to plan things. My parents on the other hand, suck at planning. They leave everything till the last minute. Sometimes its thrilling, but most of the time it's just plain annoying. So you see where I'm going here...We couldn't get tickets for Gulliver's Travel. We decided to watch Meet the Parents : Little Fockers, since mom and dad like Ben Stiller's movies. I gotta say, the movie is pretty good. We laughed our asses off throughout the entire movie. Very entertaining. I would recommend it to you guy who love a good laugh. Tomorrow is another big day. Stay tuned guys...
Au Revoir... ;)

Voila!

Ok, I’ve gotta admit, I’ve finally succumbed to this social enigma that is blogging after much persuasion from my friends. But why do I call it an enigma? Simply because I find it intriguing how people are willing to talk about personal things for the entire world to see. Facebook, Twitter and other social networking sites are no different, but atleast we siphon a lot of personal information. But what’s interesting is that we would never ever ever let random people read the Diary we hide under our beds (admit it, you’ve got one), but we feel it’s ok to let people read our blogs (some of which contains a lot of personal information).

I’ve always wanted to start a blog as a mode of releasing my suppressed anger and to keep in touch with my friends. Plus, I made a pact with my BFF. But I kept procrastinating in fear that I would not have anything interesting to write about (my life can be a bore).  Nonetheless, I’ve started one, so it’s a huge achievement for me *applause*. LOL..I’m making it sound like an AA meeting. I’m still trying to get the hang of this blogging thing so my blog can be a lil bit plain and boring, bear with me...Hope you guys enjoy reading my blog. Cheers...
