My First Party in Adelaide..

Hey guys.. if you've read my previous posts, you'd probably know that I've been bummed out about not being able to go out and have fun. Well, I finally realised that I should just stop sulking and do something about it. So, I came across this event page on Facebook (total life saver) about a party for international students. And I said hey, what the hell, may as well go check it out since one of my friends is going for it. And so I did.

I'm not much of a party girl, eventhough some you are going like "pffft... yeah right".. seriously.. I don't party unless I've nothing better to do or when I just wanna go chill after handing in a 1000 word assignment. Anyway, this is my first party in Adelaide. Was pretty pumped up about it.

The party was awesome. Met some of my Uni friends there and lotsa other international students. The one thing I like about Aussie parties is that strictly No Smoking! Yay!!!! I can breathe without feeling like my years have been cut by half. It was pretty cool when all a sudden there was a dance-off and a limbo.. lol

Some random guys I met at the party..
I had lotsa fun and I decided I'm gonna go for more of these International Student parties..

Dinner & Karaoke Night

Ok, I know you guys were wondering why I've been A.W.O.L. for so long. Don't worry, I'm alive and kicking. Just been pretty busy with Uni and well mostly Uni. So, as requested by my awesome friends, I've decided to start blogging again ( thanks for your support. You know who you are :) )

Despite the title, I didn't sing. As some of you might be scratching your heads and asking yourselves "Does she sing?  I didn't know that she sings". I DON'T sing. Well maybe in the shower I do. The Dinner and Karaoke Night was organised by the Malaysian Association here in Adelaide. Yeah.. I didn't know they had one either. lol. It was a last minute decision to go, but I'm really glad I went. Met lotsa lovely people at the dinner. Not to mention awesome food and entertainment.

When I say Karaoke Night, I didn't mean your drunk uncle singing at weddings. These people are pretty good singers I must say. I sure enjoyed the good show. And the photographers made me feel like I'm a celebrity for a day.

I really hope to go to more of these parties. Especially those organised by the Malaysian Association. Makes me proud to be a Malaysian ( a little bit cheesy.. I know I know..). It's good to see people not forget their heritage and culture despite where they live.

Here are some pictures from the dinner:
